Use this guide to help plan sizes for T-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, workwear and other team garments. Product-specific size charts should always take priority because measurements and fit can vary between brands and styles.
How to measure
- Chest: measure around the fullest part of the chest where a body measurement is provided.
- Garment width: when a flat garment measurement is shown, measure across the garment at the specified point rather than around the body.
- Length: follow the supplier's measurement diagram because the start and end points can vary by style.
Ordering for a team
Do not assume one brand's Medium will fit exactly like another brand's Medium. For larger uniform orders, collect staff size choices using the product-specific chart and consider a sample where fit is important. Keep the final size breakdown with the order so future top-ups are easier to compare.
