BEFORE THE MACHINE RUNS

What we check before we embroider.

Good embroidery is controlled before bulk production. Artwork, stitch setup, backing, placement and the first stitched result all affect how the finished order looks.

CHECK 01

Artwork checked first

We assess line weight, text size and overall detail so anything unlikely to reproduce cleanly in thread can be flagged early.

CHECK 02

Digitised for the design

Stitch direction, density and sequence are adjusted for the shape, size and readability of the logo.

CHECK 03

Backing matched to the garment

Stabiliser and stitch setup are selected around the fabric and placement so the embroidery holds its shape.

CHECK 04

Placement & first piece reviewed

We check scale, position and the stitched result before the balance of the order is completed.

FROM LOGO TO THREAD

From your artwork to finished embroidery.

Embroidery is not a direct copy of a screen image. The logo is translated into stitches, tested against fabric and adjusted so the finished mark reads clearly at real garment scale.

01

Your artwork

We start with the logo you provide and review the parts that need to translate clearly into thread.

02

Digitised stitch file

The artwork is mapped into stitches with direction, density and sequence set for the design.

Test stitch

A stitched sample shows how the design behaves in thread and on the selected fabric.

04

Finished garment

The approved setup is applied to the order with placement and finish checked against the proof.

YOUR LOGO, OUR RECOMMENDATION

Will your logo embroider well?

Most business logos can be embroidered, but very small text, thin lines, gradients and photographic detail may need adjustment. Send the file you have and we’ll recommend the cleanest option.

GOOD EMBROIDERY FIT

Ready for embroidery

Bold shapes, clear lettering and enough size to hold the detail usually translate well into thread.

REVIEW FIRST

May need artwork adjustment

Fine lines, small text or dense detail may need simplification, spacing changes or a larger embroidery size.

COMPARE PRINTING

Better suited to printing

Gradients, photographic artwork or very fine detail may reproduce better with DTF or another print method.

ORDER IN BUYING LANGUAGE

What do you need embroidered?

You can describe the outcome rather than the embroidery technique. Company logos, individual names, staff roles or combinations can all be built into a consistent team order.

Company logo

A consistent company mark on left or right chest, sleeve, cap or another suitable placement.

Names & text

Personalise garments for staff, volunteers, teams or school groups while keeping the main uniform consistent.

Roles & departments

Add job titles, departments or team identifiers where people need to be clearly distinguished.

Logo + names

Combine brand embroidery with individual names for a coordinated, practical uniform solution.

COMMON ORDER QUESTIONS

Before you send the quote request.

A few practical answers for business buyers. If your garment, artwork or deadline falls outside the usual case, send it through and we’ll check it rather than guess.

What type of logos are best for embroidery?

Bold shapes, clear lettering and enough size to retain the detail generally work best. Very fine lines, tiny text, gradients or photographic detail may need adjustment or a print recommendation.

Do I need to supply an embroidery stitch file?

No. Send the best logo file you have. We review the artwork and prepare the production setup required for embroidery.

What garments can you embroider?

Common applications include polos, work shirts, jackets, hoodies, caps and other suitable team apparel. Fabric, garment construction and placement are checked before production.

Can you add staff names or roles?

Yes. Individual names, departments, job roles or logo-plus-name combinations can be quoted as part of the same team order.

Is there an embroidery setup or digitising charge?

Setup or digitising charges may apply depending on the logo and requirements. They are confirmed in the quote before production, and retained files can make repeat orders easier.

How long does a standard order take?

Most standard embroidery jobs should allow around 7-10 business days after payment, stock confirmation and artwork approval. Timing can vary with quantity, garment availability, digitising and production requirements.
